Spanish Immersion Teachers
The Spanish Immersion Program teachers are enthusiastic, creative, and committed teachers with California Multiple Subject teaching credentials and the State required Spanish language certification. Teachers work in a collaborative model and understand the intricacy of integrating grade level standards, academic vocabulary in both languages, and language skills in their lessons, while fostering creativity.
The Dual Language Spanish Immersion program offers two classes in Kindergarten, two classes in grade one and two classes in grade two. Third, Fourth and Fifth grades are self-contained. The teacher teaches both languages.
Prior knowledge of the target language is not required to enter Kinder or grade 1.
El programa de inmersión en español ofrece 2 clases en Kinder, primero y segundo grado. En tercer, cuarto y quinto grado la maestra(o) enseña los dos idiomas. No se requiere conocimiento del español para inscribirse en Kinder o primer grado.
