After School Programs

STAR After School Program

Broadway is proud to offer the STAR After School Enrichment Program. STAR operates from dismissal time to 6:00 p.m. and offers four basic rotations for students from grades K-5: Homework, English Language Arts, Math, and Enrichment. The Enrichment classes include Science, Art, Wildlife (with animals from STAR’s Eco Station), music, sports, and other subjects. The STAR program offers limited free registration, as well as fee-based programs with more flexible scheduling for individual classes and NOVA classes.

Beyond The Bell

Broadway also has an after school playground supervision program provided by the District’s Youth Services Branch. This program is for students in grades 2 through 5 who need to stay on the yard to wait for parent pickup, but are not signed up for the STAR Program. Isabel Rodriguez is our Youth Services Playground Supervisor. The program operates from dismissal time until 6:00 p.m.

  • Classes run November 2, 2015 through January 22, 2016 except during school breaks.  Information subject to change.  First week of class during parent-teacher conferences, all classes run MWThF 1:00-2:00pm and normal times Tuesday.  See Dolphin Dispatch for more info.
  • CodeREV:  $215 per day of week for Kodu, $185 for Mathcraft.  Classes build on last session; new students may catch up at the CodeREV center in Santa Monica.  Register:  Info: or 310-450-4984.

  • Choir:  Enrollment open only to those currently enrolled in the Fall session.  $150 ($140 sibling) per day of week.  Register:  Each day of week learns 2 different songs + 2 songs sung by all classes.  There will be a concert in December.  New enrollments will be taken for Session 3 on Jan 25.
